Vincento Payment Solutions obtains electronic money
license
10th March 2008: Financial Services Authority in the United
Kingdom authorises Vincento Payment Solutions Limited to issue
electronic money.
"This is a milestone for us," says Vincento CEO, Alpesh Patel.
"We always intended to own the process and holding our own FSA
licence means we can be very flexible, which ultimately benefits
our customers.
"The authorisation to become a regulated e-money issuer,
combined with a close working partnership with our payment
provider, CQR Payment Solutions, enables us to own the process and
bring our innovative combined payment solution to the market."
